Pink Silk Moth Watercolor Print 8 by 10

The Pink Silk Moth, also known as Eudaemonia Argus, is like a fairy from another realm. But believe it or not, this beautiful creature exists in our world. Imagine this elegant moth flying around in early morning light. Currently it seems not much is documented about this particular moth, so to me they will remain a magical wonder to behold.

This painting was created with watercolors and hand embellished with mica watercolor paints, it was then scanned and digitally cleaned so that it could be printed. Each print is also hand embellished with gold and iridescent mica watercolor paint to give it a truly magical feel. The Pink Silk Moth is depicted with a many 'eyes' for which it is named, done in an Art Nouveau style.

Prints are available in sizes 5 inch by 7 inch (in a separate listing) as well as 8 inch by 10 inch and are printed on archival matte paper. Each print is also signed.
